The vendor hall is about 95% full at this time

Nice work!!!!

capncarp07 Oct 2016 7:39 a.m. PST

Only 95% full? Obviously the inexorable massive exodus of the vendors worsens. Also obviously, the venue has _no_ drawing power. Pity.

"Only 95% full?"

Actually that is significantly better than the last few years.

Disco Joe07 Oct 2016 8:18 a.m. PST

What's with the negativity capncarp?

Moe the Great07 Oct 2016 9:50 a.m. PST

Capn's being sarcastic…

Moe the Great07 Oct 2016 9:52 a.m. PST

This bodes well for our best raffles ever..

TSD10107 Oct 2016 9:55 a.m. PST

Can someone tell which of these guys are new so I can be sure to check them out?

47Ronin07 Oct 2016 10:13 a.m. PST

+1 to Santa Moe's comments and thanks to jtkimmel and the Fall In staff for posting the list.

It's not "negative waves" from capncarp, just sarcasm directed toward the anti-Host crowd.

With 300+ games and a 95% full Vendor Hall, Fall In continues to reap the benefit of "The Move" (of Historicon down South). Some of the Vendors, GMs and gamers who will be at Fall In haven't been to an HMGS convention since Cold Wars.

The HMGS (East) "pie" is still the same size, more or less, but the size of the slices for each of the three conventions has changed.

Hope to see you there. Enjoy the games.

P.S.--Just finished with online pre-registration. Easy as pie (pun intended). If you have not pre-registered, don't wait too long. Mail in registration ends VERY soon (postmarked 10/8, IIRC) while on line registration ends next week (10/14?). Spend the time now. Beats standing in line later.

capncarp08 Oct 2016 7:29 a.m. PST

Sigh. Can't fool you guys. Actually I'm getting pumped up for the con.
And play it safe: in previous years, the online registration ends effectively at 00:01 a.m. on the last date noted. So have it in by the 13th.

TSD101,

The best thing to do with almost 4 whole weeks lead time it to peruse everybody's websites to see what all is available. If you focus on the newbies you may miss some nifty new stuff from one of the stalwarts.

In this way you can pick the most interesting vendors, not just the newest, and figure where your gaming dollar will be best spent.

I hope the list is just an interim one. Some great regulars weren't on the list.

Poniatowski11 Oct 2016 10:04 a.m. PST

There will also be some companies running demo games and learning games in the vendor area… not a big area, but I squeezed some in.

thor52113 Oct 2016 5:01 p.m. PST

I don't see battlefront?

jtkimmel13 Oct 2016 7:43 p.m. PST

Here is the updated list, a few additions since last week (including Battlefront Thor521) and I included the websites if we have them. I also marked the vendors that are new to Fall In (they may have attended Historicon).
