Oh a trip down memory lane… and remarkable to see quite so many vessels there these days – although as several have pointed out that may not be altogethr intentional. I can remember when you take a trip around the harbour to see the vessels there – it must be over 50 years ago.. there were a LOT of vessels there then, and on every subsequent visit.. fewer and fewer…. C |

I remember seeing similar sights when I was a deck cadet on the Commodore Clipper ferry operating out of Portsmouth. We used to berth near the HMS Bristol. Was always a good view of the warships from the bridge of our ferry. Rory rorycrabb.wordpress.com |
