Anyone have recommendations for non GW teams for Blood Bowl? Saw some nice sculpts at Black Scorpion

Joe,

Try Shadowforge available from Eureka Miniatures. Great range; all female though.

Impact are nice. I have their crocodiles.

Crocs are nice. The Willy stuff is lovely, but pricey. Looked at the Valkarie Witches team that should be available soon. Very nice, except the Blitzers. Would love to get some Willy halflings just to watch them get killed. Shadowforge feels a little R rated except for the nuns and the dwarfettes which are a hoot.

I need two teams, one speed and skill for one off games and a team that can survive a long season of league play. Leaning towards the Skaven (Vermin) team from Black Scorpion as my light weights. Played Skaven before in league play and it was nothing but a parade to the emergency ward once the heavy weights started to build up some skill. The dwarfettes are an option, but they are so freaking slow. On the other hand, you can actually tackle wood elves which is useful. But, you get behind them or get a running lane and it's touchdown. Had an old chaos team that was incredibly frustrating to play until they got a mutation that allowed them to pick up the ball. Orcs and undead seem like a good compromise between sadistic tendencies and compentence with the ball.

Tought of something. I have a lot of puppets from Puppet Wars sitting around. Might make a team out of them.
