Not mine, nor my interest, but figured someone here could see potentials with this vessel. Seems to scale out at around 15mm.

Its a built Revell model of the Goethe, a Rhine river boat. The model is 1/160 (much smaller than 15mm) and depicts her after her 1953 rebuild. Don't see much gaming potential here. |

True enough, Walkabout. It'd require some kitbashing and imagination, but considering the asking prices of these unbuilt kits (when found) it's relatively reasonable. Kitbashing also allows for some latitude in switching scales. Comparing the oal of the Goethe (built 1913 link ) to the Barry (built 1907, took the rearguard out of Gallipoli link ) |
