Hi All,
Just got home from the region.
We went for Hadrian's Wall; I fell in love with the blighters!
I know nothing about ranges, etc., so all info is appreciated.

Foundry has some nice ones. They're not cheap, but we're talking skirmish games, after all. At least two other ranges, but my brain is clogged.

Reiver castings are a good start: link

Good company to deal with too, you won't get fleeced!

Outpost has a lovely range: link

And if you haven't yet, read The Steel Bonnets!

The ex-Vendel figures that Sgt. Major carries are great.

Wow.
Thanks, Gents.

@miniMo: Bonnets is already on req w/ the library.

And I picked up a great OS map of Reiver locations in Haltwhistle last week.

Lots of good ranges mentioned already & The Steel Bonnets is an excellent read, but don't forget GMF's "Candlemass Road" too. link
I would also recommend P F Chisholm's historical series of novels link
& Dorothy Dunnett's "A Game of Kings"

Candlemass Road is very evocative.

Pics of Scots and English reprobates on my blog:

The figures are a mix from most of the makes mentioned plus Warrior and Irregular who are pretty good, cheaper and both are great to deal with.
