Cossacks 3 is just a upgraded remake of the original. Dealing with the 17th and early 18th century. You fight campaigns, play skirmishes ect. The game is so close to the original that they even recreated the old annoyances. ( Like units loosing formation when using transport ship |

Is that the one where artillery rotates to keep enemy in its line of fire until it has reloaded. That often means that by the time it fires it is pointing at your own lines and blows a hole in a unit. |

I wasted many hours playing that game. Age of Empires looked like a minor skirmish compared to a game of Cossacks. I remember the key to surviving was to keep a few soldiers on guard over every mine and resource building, lest Cossacks run through your country and capture or blow up your resources. |

Cossacks always had great firing animations
The Austrians "attack" me with some priests, apperantly religious animosity is still strong even in the 18th century. And my swedes gun them down in cold blood.
