I have my eye on these too. By the description it sounds like they should fit in with Crusader and A&A Samnites, but any opinions on how they should mix? I already have a lot of those ranges… Damon. |

They will mix really well. I think the A&A and Aventine are from the same sculptor and the Crusader are very similar |

Have ordered some as well so thanks for the Review. Nice to get spare heads/standards. I am painting up a mixed A&A/Crusader unit and find Crusader's figures a tad smaller than A&A. Aventine should also mix well with the Victrix plastic Samnite foot. |

Mike I have used LBMS A&A Samnite transfers on Aventine hoplons and they work well. Aventine has Italian scutums and I suspect LBMS transfers (long oval Samnite shields) would work. May need touching up at the edges and around the boss. Failing that Victrix have LBMS transfers for their infantry – variety of shield types. Garry |

I'll let you know if the A&A transfers fit (highly likely that they do) in the next week, because that's what I have ordered for mine! I'm sure as Aventine and LBMS have worked together in the past we will see Samnite shield designs in the Aventine shop. |
