What is your favorite piece of artillery to either paint or see on the tabletop? Anything from primitive medieval guns to Napoleons to Big Bertha to modern boomers and bangers. Right now, I'm leaning toward the magnificent and historic French 75. This is a restart due to a TMP bug flaying my original attempt to create this Poll Subject thread.

ML-20 152mm gun-howitzer I can literally watch grainy youtube video of them being fired in succession for hours. I'm also a big fan of the self propelled mountings, the SU-152 and the ISU-152 |

Currently, 3-pdr Grasshopper (AWI), though the Russian 1/2 pud unicorn is nice, too. I also like the US 12-pdr Mountain Howitzer and the screw gun. |

The 15 inch Pneumatic Dynamite Gun as emplaced in Battery Dynamite at Fort Winfield Scott on the Presidio of San Francisco. This battery had 3 15 inch guns. The other battery at Sandy Hook New Jersey had 2 15 inch guns and one 8 inch gun. The 7th gun made was purchased by the Government of New South Wales and tested by the Royal Artillery at Dale Fort. Please note this is not the Sims-Dudley Gun. This one is bigger and better. With automatic gun laying, the gunner in a control booth set the elevation and azimuth on his controls and the gun was electrically traversed and elevated, not bad for a cannon built in the 1890s. |

No question – the Smith Gun. What's not to like about this typical bit of British improvisation, even if it did have 'a terrifying reputation for killing its crew'? |

The US WW2 vintage 105mm howitzer. I had a plastic one as a kid, that really shot wooden bullets. Later I built a scale model of one. Years after that I served on a real one in Viet-Nam. |
