What is your favorite piece of artillery to either paint or see on the tabletop? Anything from primitive medieval guns to Napoleons to Big Bertha to modern boomers and bangers.

Right now, I'm leaning toward the magnificent and historic French 75.

Weasel27 Sep 2016 8:44 p.m. PST

Since we have a gun poll, maybe we should have one for gentlemen.

"real" or replica both count. Your best judgment when a knife turns into a sword.

A: I own enough swords to outfit a small army.
B: I own several swords.
C: I own one or two swords.
D: I used to own swords.
E: I do not, but I plan to.
F: I do not and do not intend to.
G: Where I live, we inexplicably have internet but lack metal-working technology.

I have my father's ceremonial Knights of Columbus 4th Degree sword.
I only made it to 3rd.

I would not want to get in a fight with it though.

The Beast Rampant27 Sep 2016 9:49 p.m. PST

I have several sword bayonets. It's got "sword" in the name!

I may still have a somewhat crappy medievelish sword rusting in my parent's garage for going on thirty years.

Kevin C27 Sep 2016 9:53 p.m. PST

My wife does. She use to participate in fencing but she has not had a chance to enjoy the sport since we have had children.

A couple of crappy costume swords. One nice fantasy replica thing. I have a pair of jungle machetes … on the border of counting or not. I used to have an expensive crappy costume one, but I sold it for beer money when I got out of the Navy.

skippy000128 Sep 2016 4:51 a.m. PST

A swordcane, chinese curved sword, arkansas toothpick, a very, very sharp roman dagger and a good multi-tool. Also a wooden katana-bokken(Japanese cherry oak).

The bokken will take the top of your head clean off-3 years kenjutsu…..when I was younger and less arthritic.

I prefer a Davy Crockett but can I own one…but nooooooooo!

I've got a two-handed Danish Axe and a Poleaxe, a couple of bowies and I'm contemplating ordering a sword from Albion.

Coelacanth193828 Sep 2016 9:20 a.m. PST

I own a 18" dagger which looks more like a shortsword. It was a generic item I bought off of eBay to complete a RenFaire costume. It wasn't very expensive, but it's as sturdy as a '57 Chevey

I also have a few smaller daggers. A couple eating daggers and one wavy bladed thing that is now my favorite bread knife.
