At Hurricon and Recon my booth is next to Richard Borg's booth. It is always a pleasure to talk to him about game designing. Anyway, I had a chance to participate in a demo game of his new combat system. The focus is on Deep Space fleet battles. It was fast moving and full of action. I am looking forward to the game entering production. |

Hmmmmmm, with a last name like "Borg", I'm a bit worried he might be an advanced guard member of the "collective". |

Rsince he has done battle cry, memoir 44, and the command and color series for ancients and napoleonics. As well as the Great War and tricorne. It does seem that he is tireless. Lol |

It had a play test name that was too long to get right.
Some familiar game mechanics but some new ones as well. It was fun even if my side won in the end. Lol.
He also went over some of the scenarios with me which sounded very challenging.
I am not sure who the publisher will be.
He also discussed some upcoming expansions for some of his other systems as well.
Great guy who is easy to talk too. |
