The one historical account we have of Boudica's raimwnt was described as a "robe of many colors," so clearly this is not Boudica ;-)

What Northern Monkey said -- she probably had more than one change of clothing.

It's also interesting that everyone thinks of Boudicca as red-haired (myself included, until recently) but this seems to be a result of bad translations from the original Greek text that have been used by English and American popular writers ever since (and because it ties in neatly to stereotypes about the Celtic peoples).

As Nic Fields convincingly explains in "Boudicca's Rebellion" (Osprey campaign series), the description of her hair by Dio Cassius (who was not an eyewitness anyway) is better translated as "tawny" or "golden-yellow", and not red at all.

Also keeping in mind that the historical Boudicca must have been in her late thirties at the youngest.
