I would like to try and get hold of these rules, but none of my usual retailers seem to carry it. Does anyone sell this in the UK, or do i need to order from across the pond? |

When I lived in the UK, we ordered our copies direct….it wasn't any problem. |

I did enquire in the past but the number of copies minimum and the very small discount didn't make it possible… Mike |

I did enquire in the past but the number of copies minimum and the very small discount didn't make it possible… That's interesting. I thought they just wouldn't do it, period. But if they offered you an unrealstic deal then either they are naive or just wanted an excuse not to. |

So this has come up once again. We have a very healthy UK customer base that continues to grow. We also have an Australian stockist, Castaway Arts, who has no problem with our minimum order requirement. We are neither unrealistic or naive; we just have a business plan we follow that has worked very well for 17 years. "The Sword and The Flame" is approaching its 40th anniversary so we're doing something right………… |

It's not naive if you are doing things exactly the way you want to, and getting exactly the response you want. |

@ Major: That's a 'wierd' way to spell 'weird'. |

I didn't have a problem with their terms I just couldn't make it work for me. Mike |

Mile, I know you didn't have a problem with our terms. That wasn't directed towards you. Lori |

I saw a game at a UK convention this year (1914 East Africa at Partizan 2) that was using TSATF – probably the first time I've seen them used 'over here' in more than 30 years. I suspect that the release of MWWBK and 'Sharp Practice 2' will see a revival of interest in colonial gaming in the UK, but not sure that TSATF will be the rules of choice |
