I get a steady drip of orders from Australia and NZ and it kills me to have to charge the obscene postage rates that are in existence today. I had to charge 14 dollars to ship 16 figures last week. That's crazy!! So, I a going to offer any club, groups or just some gamers who want to save on shipping, a discount on group purchases. I'm offering a 20 % discount, good for all figures and heads from Kings Mountain Miniatures, when you purchase a large order. I can ship just under 4 pounds of figures for 35 USD using a small flat rate box. That's about 70 to 90 figures, depending on poses. So, get your club or friends together and take advantage of my offer. The 20% discount will help with the shipping and you can really save by loading up. Shoot me and Email at: knigsmtminis@aol.com or PM me here if interested. kingsmtminis.com/catalog |

Now I wish I did the AWI! But I hope you get a good response, and I will post your generous offer on the Facebook pages of my local clubs. Thanks for thinking of us Antipodeans! |

Very decent of you! I too wish I did AWI. I buy almost nothing from the US now, not new stuff or even eBay because the postage just isn't competitive with the UK. |

Here in the UK. ordering from the US not only attracts heavy postage, but also the risk of having parcels – even gifts – opened by HMR&C, then held hostage by Royal Mail until you pay not only the import duty (which also applies to VAT and postage – so you're paying tax on tax!), but also the RM's own little scam of an £8.00 GBP "handling" charge. One can only hope that Brexit will change this, but, well…public bodies voluntarily reducing their income? Oh look, a flying pig!!!!! |

An alternative for NZ buyers would be to use the You Shop capability from NZ Post. Items purchased from the States are sent to the You Shop depot in Portland, and NZ postal rates (much cheaper) are used to ship the parcels back to NZ. Nevinsrip, you might want to offer a service around that to NZ buyers? Here is the link – nzpost.co.nz/tools/youshop |

It appears that Australia Post has something similar to our Kiwi cousins: shopmate.auspost.com.au I have never used it before, but the cost doesn't look as nice as the NZ costs. |

WOW! Very generous! I already was impressed you offered your Veteran Community a 10% discount but this is pretty good of you. I'll scrape together a order,… What's the time limit? |
nevinsrip | 28 Sep 2016 1:17 a.m. PST |
What's the time limit? Good until further notice. At least till the end of the year. |

Great initiative nevinsrip. I've pretty much ruled out buying from the US now. It's good to see a seller being proactive to try and solve the problem. |

And not a single word from my down under friends. So much for that brilliant idea. |
