I have Reed's book. I have only read parts of it, but it seems to be well researched.

Fuller's book is excellent. Hennessey's is quite good, so is Fishel's.

Reed's book is good (reads like a doctoral dissertation (which it probably is) but well researched). Also have Tucker's; another well researched piece (but dryly written).
