I have watched the 9 part "Mr. Arnhem A Bridge Too Far" on Youtube. It shows some actual footage from the Arnhem Battle but one scene made me question. It shows a 1st Airborne trooper armed with a Boyes AT rifle. I had thought that by this time in the war those had been phased out?

At which point?

I'd be interested about that too.

I figured that by the end of 1944 the British Army had done away with the Boyes Anti-tank rifle. I could be wrong though that is why I posted this question here.

PIATs had replaced them well before 44.

Which is why people are asking you where in those 9 youtube videos you saw a boyes atr.

I believe it was part 3 as the paras are leaving the drop zone.
