Well after months of blag silence I manage two posts in 3 days.
This one about a bargain 1/72 kit I found in my local Home Bargains (UK discount chain). At £1.99 GBP it was a real bargain. Read all about it here link

Wow. I remember putting together Lindberg Models and Mini Lindy car kits as a kid in the 60s. Thanks for posting and bringing back old memories.

Not bad for 1.99.
Lindberg? Like you I´ve never heard of them..but after a bit of searching

Good find, and they have a load of varied stuff on their site, interesting!!

Well I picked up the AA half track and to say it's the same skill level on the front is just a bit misleading, looks a far more complex build.

But they also had some 1/72 aircraft, an Arado AR-234B ( link ) and a Kingfisher ( link ). Didn't spot any others.

I remember this kit from the 70's. It was grey plastic back then.

I thought I´d seen it somewhere before… made by Hasegawa

bridget the midget the return, the Kingfisher kit can be built with either floats or with fixed landing gear.(until I built this kit, I never knew the Kingfisher had a land based plane version)

So I am guessing this also a repop of a Hasegawa kit? Maybe this one…

They are also doing airfix 1/72 aircraft and 1/32 SAS, British infantry and paratroops for £2.99 GBP each.

I've just doubled my kit mountain.

they also had 1/48 stiletto, f86 sabre, 1/72 harrier, hellcat, helldiver

depends on which store you go to.
