Looks like Gerry Elliot who used to run the Wargames Holiday centre at Scarborough. Some rules changes from In the Grand Manner by Peter Gilder. I played Borodino a number of times and although its a tough game it was also the scene of my greatest victory. By the time I advanced the Imperial Guard all they had to do was walk over the bodies of dead Russians. |

The miniatures are impressive (I'm guessing this is for "In the Grandest Manner"), but beyond pushing a lot of lead on a table with friends, I'm not seeing the point. The terrain around Borodino was a critical element in how the day's events unfolded, and none of that is represented here. But whatever floats yer boat… |
