So it isn't a limo but it is in keeping with the theme of the Genestealers as miners gone amok.
It looks like a pretty cool stolen/converted truck and I'm sure the Post apocalypse people will be able to use it for all kinds of stuff. Whatever else the kit may be it is like a post-apocalypse bits bonanza. |

This is one of the most exciting things, for me, to come out for 40K in a long time. Need to pick up Overkill, and probably one of each of this army. |

The trucks are great. Ork and Squat collectors will be revelling in the possibilities :) The rest is also great (and the basic troops would make great imperial guard with different heads). This is a good thing. |

If only they'd sort out the rules. Get rid of ugo igo. |

Ork and Squat collectors will be revelling in the possibilities :) Indeed. Depending on price these may find their prominent place leading my buggies and trucks into assault. Alas, knowing GWs policy – they may as well not. |

They look good, that drill tough can't drill through anything since the heads are too separated isntead of together like in real drills:
See? no space left, only drill at the head, those designers are no engineers ;) |

I don't think those are drills, nor are intended to represent such. |

It is possible that the vehicle's drills have been refitted to be more spread out. This would make them more useful at dispersing enemy in a ramming attack. |

If only they'd sort out the rules. Get rid of ugo igo. Easily done, I stopped using their rules years ago. :) |

I do not do 40k but why do you have to use GW rules to play it? If you dislike the rules I see no reason you can't keep all the fluff and other things with a set of rules you like. |

I do not do 40k but why do you have to use GW rules to play it? If you dislike the rules I see no reason you can't keep all the fluff and other things with a set of rules you like. Alot of people dont have a space to play or maybe dont have friends that play or just like a variety of opponents. You can walk into just about any store that carries GW and find an opponent. Its hard to do that with most other game systems. |

Don't play 40K but I do like that truck. And Genestealer Cults. Now if they streamlined the ][nquisiter rules, and released plastic Inquisition teams, I'd succumb. |

Why don't you use the Infinity rules? They are free. They work really well with small unit actions. It is a little bit more complex than 40K but far less so than Inquisitor. They are what I use when building up forces or when I want to play small games of 40K. |

Beyond the Gates of Antares could be easily adapted for 40k, and can handle similar figure counts. Note the Genestealer claws peaking out from the hatch…that's a nod to some classic art, that showed a purestrain's claws protruding from a limo. |
