Actually, while this figure has so many things that I dislike including being FAT and the whole hip dysplasia problem, there is something about it, the knock-need stance, the completely disastrous hair job at the beauty parlor, the outfit foisted on her at "The Emperor's New Clothes Boutique" or "Tarts-R-Us", the hat made out of last years Halloween decorations, the lamp, which is going to give her a searing burn on her hip when it touches that gives the figure a real sense of pathos. If she is a muse, then it is the muse of any woman whose day has just gone horribly, frustratingly, terribly wrong. Makes you want to just give her a hug and say, "there there princess, come on, it'll be OK, we'll get you home, put you in some nice clothes and you can tell me and your mother all about it. |
