Attack on Strechenheim

1704: The Grand Duchy of Hypzig brings its grand army to bear on the city of Stretchenheim. The Baron of Gryphonsberg, in alliance with Stretchenheim forces have built up defenses, ready to beat off the aggressors.

The Advance Commences

Undaunted by the defenses and guns, and the fact that the enemy was near equal in strength (because I was sleepy and forgot to move troops around before the battle started) the Advance commenced, with their guns giving what for, into the enemy's ranks.

This was the second 54mm imaginations battle I ran at Pacificon game convention this year. Great turn out, and fun was had by all. Well, the attacking right flank took a clobbering, but everyone else I think.

Excellent! That really looks like fun.

I dug around on your site and love all of the paraphernalia you've made for the game, such as the batons and fall-back templates. And I (eventually) saw that you are using a variant of Warmaster; would love to see your variant.

Cheers,
Ed

Thanks gents-
Ed, I'd be happy to share my rules variants with you, just send me a PM, or drop me a line at woodenwars1815(at)gmail.com

The rules are still a work in progress, but work pretty well, especially for conventions. I'm currently working on my own rules which will get a bit more of the flavor of WSS/GNW feel to them.

Cheers,
Thomas
