Hi Guys Next up for the largish Napoleonic commission are the 28mm Spanish Ordenes Militares Regiment, half Grenadiers and half Fusiliers, not sure who makes these, but they look like Paul Hicks sculpts (except the Grenadier officer, drummer and Fusilier Sergeant, not sure where they are from) All very nice figures, happy with how the white came out on these, all comments welcome. dan.dunbar@hotmail.com More pics here link

Dan, wonderful job, especially on the notoriously difficult white uniforms and on the grenadiers' "flames"! The majority of the figures are indeed Paul Hick's sculpts produced by Brigade Games here in the states. The other three are from Capitan Games / Battlemodels (originally from Spain but I think they are now in the UK). |

Nice figures, great painting, I wish I could paint like that! I do however wonder why you chose to use gold on the officers. The Ordenes Militares Regiment is a white-metal unit as can be seen from thier buttons so it follows that the officers' epaulettes and lace should be silver although the gorget would alway be gilt regardless of button-colour. |

Very nice work Dan!! The white uniforms work really good me thinks. Also, again, love the gritty campaignworn look! Dr J |

@Gunner Some of my notes, written fair, that I collected while building my own Spanish Napoleonic wargames armies are now on my web site. You may find these of interest… littlewars.se/spanish |
