In my first game I picked a wood elf army straight from the rules. One of the elves had this trait but we could not find what it is supposed to do |

I don't have the rules handy, but I do have the warband builder, and I don't see it there. I'm thinking it might supposed to be Combat Master. But this was in the basic SoBH rules, not the Advanced rules? I don't have those handy either. |

I am pretty sure it was the advanced rules |

I am pretty sure it was the advanced rules. Below is as copied from the list Wood Elf Master Duelist — Personality Points 72 Quality 3+ Combat 3 Traits Expert Parry (P), Forester, Leafwalk, Master Duelist (P) |

I looked (briefly) in the basic and advanced rules and didn't see Master Duelist listed. But it is definitely in the elf's profile and the online army builder. I look forward to seeing what the answer to this is. Good gaming, all! |

The Master Duelist trait is in Hammer and Forge. I guess that's an oversight on Andrea's part. I'm sure there will be an update/correction eventually. In the meantime, I'd recommend using Combat Master instead of Master Duelist. It increases the points to 80, but the Master Duelist trait is a slightly weaker Combat Master, so that would keep the flavor. |

At least it was not something that I had missed – I sometimes doubt my own sanity with these things! |

Sorry guys -- it's very fluid what goes in a book or what goes in another until we publish, and it is very easy to let these small oversights slip. Yes it is a trait from Hammer and Forge and it is a weaker, cheaper form of Combat Master. |
