Bought some Kyrlon "short cuts" leaf green paint at Michaels this weekend for $4 USD and it barely covered 2 pieces of terrain.

Anyone want to share where they get their cheap spray paints?

Tried my local DIY stores and nada.

Thanks

I hear Wallyworld has $1 USD Black Primer. That should make the other paint go further.

I get the store-brand spray paints from Orchard Supply Hardware here in California for about $2 USD/can.

When I have to have Rustoleum or Krylon, so far I've found Walmart has the best prices.

I do the same as Yellow Admiral.

OSH has black, rust, and gray primers with a very matte finish (as you'd expect of primers). They work great for terrain, but I have also used them on vehicles to good effect.

I also use OSH silver and chrome for things like chain link fences and metal boxes and buildings.

I'm looking for greens.

Going to try a local Fred Meyer

Not necessarily cheap, but both rustoleum and krylon have camo colored spray paints that I use a lot for terrain. There's a couple of different greens between them.

I've bought those cammo paints on clearance at Walmart after hunting season. I think it may vary from store to store, though.

Try the Michael's Floral spray paints. Great terrain colors and a can will go a long way. It is not cheap, but wait for the 50% off coupons and buy a few cans.
Since they are floral paints, you should be able to find the perfect greens.

I always buy the off brand flat black and gray from walmart for a dollar or so. Never had any problems with it.
