After a 10 year delay, due to several hurricanes and many medical issues, we are pleased to announce the publication of "The Sword and The Flame Scenario Book 2016". This project came about after Hurricane Katrina when the Colonial gaming community got together and expanded what we had begun with TSATF Scenario Portfolio 2000. It was a very wonderful response to our family and company during a very difficult time.

This first offering includes 11 scenarios, and maps, for Dervish, Arab and Boxer Rebellion battles. The scenario designers in this set are Jeff Baumal, Mitch Berdinka, Steven Boley, Mark Mintz and Chuck Turnitsa. There are also a few interesting TSATF articles included.

The price will be: $ 24.00 ($ 20 + $ 4 S&H) USA/Canada and $ 28.00 ($ 20 + $ 8 S&H) International.

We have more scenarios scheduled for the future and assure you there won't be 10 years between releases!

i'm not only a gamer but an avid collector of everything connected with TSATF….as soon as it'll be available i'll order this scenario book..hope it'll be in the classic style of the first portfolio with vanilla 20 casting units and hand drawn charming and easy to fix maps…i had a try at practically every scenario…except the one wich required quite a few ox wagons..that i did'nt own..
thanks for this good new

Wow! I remember running the Yahoo group that was organizing this "way back when". Lots of great names and great ideas in that collection – glad to see it will be published.

Hmm … maybe this is a sign that I should get my Colonials out of mothballs!

Cheers,

Christopher

Well Bashy, all you have to do is come up with variant and I'm sure Lori will publish it. After all, she published Jay's "Frogs in Space" which uses future warriors like Imperial marines and orcs.

I remember the drive to get the scenarios after Katrina. Glad to see it finally come to fruition. I'll get mine at Colonial Barracks convention ( link ) in November.

I just might do that, but all I was really after was a cheap laugh.

I was thinking about starting colonial wargaming period and was reading about The Sword and the Flame rules as the go to rules. I assume they can be purchased at the same website?

abj9562 and Larry R,

Here's the link to TSATF Scenario Portfolio 2016 at Sergeants 3:

sergeants3.com/18.html

It's on the last page (pg 6, I think) of our rules for TSATF, etc.
