Every unit I have carries flags, eagles, guidons etc….however inaccurate that might be on campaign. Actually my Scots Greys do not, even though I have the GMB necessary….but one is waving an Eagle so that is enough! Someone will say it eventually so I'll take the flak. Dock those tails…….it was done as a recognition-friend or foe at a distance- thing…or strictly nag tailed rather than docked |

I have to say that I loathe the look of docked tails, and it was also cruel to the horses. Therefore I am happy to have the horses "intact", even if it is as a-historical as carrying their flags in the field. :-) These are 28mm Old Glory figures, with GMB flags.. of course! Peter |
