This time I'm taking a look at Warlords new Volksgrenadiers link

Nicely done, like the winter themed headgear, would they have only this king of gear if it was the autumn/ winter period? I'd love to mix them in with the full winter gear. release from WL, and what about this kit for SS without smocks, that possible? what's the consensus folks?

VolleyFire Andy17 Sep 2016 11:20 a.m. PST

Yup they would be usable as SS, also as SS in the M44 pea dot uniform too, or mix and match of the two. The winter head gear is just a scarf tied over the head on these, so could be any time of the year that's a bit chilly!

Thanks, getting me some I think:).

Very nice work Andy.

The winter head gear is just a scarf tied over the head on these, so could be any time of the year that's a bit chilly!

Are these separate heads or sculpted on the figures?

Zargon17 Sep 2016 3:57 p.m. PST

If Warlord most probably separate, so you can use normal helmeted/field capped head sets, I think all the head sets are available separately too. Always a nice idea for separate heads to miniatures I think.

damn both of you, I am ordering the set. :)

VolleyFire Andy18 Sep 2016 1:49 a.m. PST

Yup, heads are separate on these!
