link Welcome back ye followers of Project Jutland, Today is a momentus day, the German "half" of the ships are complete ! Hurrah. 99 1/2400 ships done with the last batch of 32 British ships based and primed the end is in sight. The post is mostly pictures as you would expect, the German Battle line ended up over 8 ft long which is a challenge to photograph (I ended up putting them in close formation in the end). The whole collection will be on display for the first time at FIASCO at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on 30th October. It will be a static display as the club members will be engaged in running the show but I will be around to chat about the project. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

That is the largest collection of refrigerator magnets I have ever seen…. Very nice work. I love your perspective photos of the battleline:
I can't wait to see the pictures of the ships in action. You're going to need an army of photographers to get it on film. Or maybe a zeppelin-shaped drone buzzing around the table snapping photos of the action in progress… :-) You've made me feel quite inadequate. Much of my HSF and most of my Grand Fleet is still bare lead. - Ix |

Great job. Now all you need is a bunch of sinking ship models. |

Or maybe a zeppelin-shaped drone buzzing around the table snapping photos of the action in progress… :-) Oh, gods yes! You know you want to do it! Didn't realize that Jutland was that big a scrum… 250 ships of all types is one hell of a lot of lead/refrigerator magnets! |

That is so damn impressive Ken – I salute you! Can't wait to see them in action at the Armouries. This is one heck of a project – I can never seem to get more than a dozen ships painted up before I get distracted and wander off to do something else. Still – I always go back to what I started with, but it does mean it would take me about 200 years to complete a project like yours! Best wishes, Nick |

Cheers everyone, I'm currently working on the last 8 British ships so the whole thing should be done by the end of next week. It's been a slog at times but the final product is worth it. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |
