It seems that Dave, at Armaments in Miniature, releases new products faster than I can get them painted. He's released several WWII Soviet fighters. This is just one of them.

The Armaments in Miniature, 1/200 La.5FN is a single-piece, resin model. It has plenty of panel lines and a steel screw in the belly. The screw makes it easy to attach the model to magnetized stands. If you don't like the screw, it's easy enough to remove.

I finished this model as White 93, flown by Senior Lieutenant Orekhov, Kursk, 1943.

I used Vallejo Model Color paints – top is Blue-Gray Pale and Dark Blue Gray. Bottom is position #64 (all the other details have worn from the label).

Decals are from Miscellaneous Miniatures.

I highly recommend the model. Kevin
