The book is titled 'The hunting grounds of the great West: a description of the plains, game, and Indians of the great North American desert.' Lieutenant-Colonel [1] of the US Army Richard I. Dodge wrote this work circa 1877, a military man with a huge experience on the American Plains during the so called Indians Wars…"
