This is the final version of my paper model of a typical Dutch church, with the optional buttresses in place , and the two optional window sheets, clear and coloured.
I've been asked for a church model several times over the years, but I've always hesitated – anf rightfully so, the spire alone took four attempts to get the proportions right.
The example is 17th Century, so modellers/gamers may use it for any period since then.
Time allowing, we do have some appointments today, the first scale will be listed in our webshop papierenbouwplaten tonight, with more scales following soon(ish). Eventually it will be available in all the usual scales from Z (1:220) to 28mm (1:56).
This has been one of my most complicated models so far, and certainly the largest.
If you're curious about its history, and that of other paper models, take a look here: link
