Not sure about the blanket color or the canteen cover color. Maybe it was something specifically issued to that regiment at that time in the war.

I have several books on the Iron Brigade.

The blanket and canteen cover are not even close.

That green color is absurdly too kelly green! Holy crap!

Those Hardee hats don't turn brown like that easily. It also looks like there is some kind of oxidizing on the plates and time cup. Not even close. What happened?

The artist is very skilled at painting but CW equipment colors? Nope.

The Kelly Green on the blanket and canteen are far from any color of such equipment I have ever seen in museums. The colors are usually an off-brown tan faded in many cases to egg shell in color for blankets and canteen covers. The other options are grays and blues. Militia blue was quite common for canteen covers early in the war. There were some red blankets issued as well. Kelly Green is not a correct option.
