If you live in or near New York City, you should know about the New York Military Affairs Symposium. NYMAS covers a wide array of periods. A link to their current schedule is here. nymas.org NYMAS is an ongoing program which follows the school year.

Echoing Andrew's sentiments, thanks very much for posting this. I had no idea it existed, and it led me to discover a book (whose author gave a past lecture) I didn't know of but now need to get. The next time I return to my hometown of NYC, I'll definitely try to attend.

FYI, the C-SPAN broadcast of the lecture on post-Cold War American foreign policy will be this Saturday (10/8) at Noon. Like they say, check your local listings for details.
