To prep myself for my incoming order of molds and metal, does anyone have any good blogs or articles they would recommend as reading material? This will be my first time casting.

I'm not seeing any articles or videos on how to take care of any leftover metal in your pot or such. I'm also looking for pictures of armies people have made for inspiration. Yes I saw PAs gallery.

the metal from the pot/ladle will pop right out after it cools since it shrinks when it does so. I store mine in a heavy duty ziploc freezer bag, but even the times that I haven't there isn't any real harm done. Any oxidation or impurities float to the top when it is melted again and you can scrape it off of the top.
