How much of your hobby purchasing is done on eBay? none 10% 50% 100% |

10% or so. Used to be more, back when it wasn't a business platform. |

Next to nothing this year. Was probably as high as 50% in some previous years. Not all the time – 15% on average would be more like it. But this year – I don't think I've had a single thing from Ebay. |
durecell | 06 Sep 2016 6:03 p.m. PST |
So little it's hard to give a percent. Mostly I buy tufts on Ebay but I don't need to do that very often at all. |

I'd say around 90%. I've been buying both traditional gaming figures, as well as non-traditional figures, which I re-purpose for gaming. Like Gygax did in the 70's, I am adapting many figures for my fantasy army needs, and changing them from their original purpose, to suit my fantasy armies, through paint to make them resemble something their maker had not intended. For example, I needed a bunch of Frost Giants, so I used 60mm tall Viking figures, mostly plastic, but also a metal casting, as their leader. I shop around, and I've found most of the time that e-Bay offers the best prices, for my gaming needs. Also, I have not found many listings for the figures I wanted, outside of e-Bay. Like it, or not, many vendors are using it to sell their goods. I am OK with that, I have not had any issues with it, or the vendors who use it. Cheers! |

Varies by year, but probably 20-25% is a good average. |
zoneofcontrol | 06 Sep 2016 6:36 p.m. PST |
Years ago I estimate that I purchased as much as 25% of my stuff thru eBay. I have not bought anything at all thru them in the past two to three years. |

Depends upon the year. These past three years, maybe 20%. In 2012 maybe 90% as I was buying old board games recovering from an attack of termites. Anything before that maybe 30-40% |
Volstagg Vanir | 06 Sep 2016 8:08 p.m. PST |
50-80%, depending on whether Sandy Petersen or Bob Olley are KickStarting something. |
Mako11 | 06 Sep 2016 8:18 p.m. PST |
Hard to say. Best guess is 25%, or so, fluctuating wildly, depending upon need and availability. |

40% now Used to be more but Miniatures Market is close by so I order it and pick up the next day. Most everything else is ebay or online. Terry |

Varies with the year but ovr the last 6 years or so I would say 40%. Some years were 60%-70% of total gaming spend, but other quite low. it is getting lower every year over the last few years. |

Probably less than 5% at the moment, and that's relatively high, I have gone a few years without any purchases from it. Currently I use it mainly to get cool Japanese and Chinese stuff not generally available here – gashapons, spaceship models, cheap trees, and models of famous landmarks for my gashapon kaiju to stomp on. |

80-90%. Even when you want something new, rather than second hand, it's often easier to shop on ebay. For example, in the last few weeks, as well as a few second hand purchases, I've bought some grass tufts and textured plasticard. It's easier to search in one place and compare the different available options, then buy and pay with with paypal, rather than looking at lot of different online shops and have to set up an account to purchase. |
