Into territory I'm not familiar with… I have a sea cobra coming in the post for my Iranians, I understand Maverick missiles were used for CAS, but can't find any pictures of the actual weapon load. Do I assume its one missile per side (pylon) (as apposed to two sets of four for other missiles?)

Any help, corrections appreciated.

Not sure about the Iranians, but it has been fired from a US Supercobra.

Is that of any help?

From what I have read the IRIAA Cobras don't have Maverick capabilty. I certainly don't rememer seeing it discussed on the ACIG forum and those guys tend to apeBleeped text whenever Iran does anything new

Update I have just talked to a much more knowledgeable friend who states that IRIAA AH-1's were fitted with Mavericks during the 1980-88 war with some success. He isn't sure about the fit but feels that one per side would be a good bet. That will ieach me to post before I know what I am Talking about:-(

Thanks guys, appreciated. I will need to make/convert a 15mm Maverick so we are a while away at the moment, but I'll post up my initial build to check I have the right attachment points, or at least the right looking attatchment points!

15mm Maverick should be pretty simple, start with 3mm plastic rod for the body.
