/mivacommon/boards/topics.mv: Line 583: MvLOCKFILE: Runtime Error: Error creating lockfile 'boards/topics.dbf.lck': Timed out waiting for lock
Lately when I get this error I open another window to the forum board and find my post has posted properly.

Yep, that is the pattern.

Generally I can sometimes get lockfile messages when posting to someone else's topic but it still usually posts OK; new topic it has posted without my realising it before, but usually it didn't – just so many failures that I gave up posting new topics and now just restrict myself to commenting onother peoples. However, my impression is that the bug/bugs is/are getting worse, and that this deterioration is accelerating.

Lockfile error has been plaguing my posts lately. Do the dear editors not like my posts any more?

It will post, but prevents cross posting, so you do not get a unified post over more than 1 folder.

I seem to suffer it most times I post these days.

If you get it when replying to another post, that post does not count the the post, so for example if you are the second poster, on the front page or whatever, the posy count still looks like nobody has replied to the post.

Sorry - only verified members can post on the forums.
