Okay, I like the variety of Dixon minis but I dislike the whole "cabbage patch" kid head thing. So I was wondering about the possibility of ordering some Dixons and some head sets from Steve Barber and doing a head swap. The problem is I've never seen Steve Barber minis so for those who have is what I'm proposing possible? |

Do Dixon miniatures come with separate heads? If not, I imagine getting the heads off them will be the big challenge. |

Dixon have fixed heads but I've never had a problem with head swaps before. I'm just concerned about scale. |

Most of the Dixons heads are full of character but some are huge compared to the body size – I replaced these with Redoubt heads. |

Interesting idea jedburgh, Dixon is awsome but…. those pumpkin heads spoil everything. Tey should do sometining about it. |

Great! I know that folks dealing with Redoubt from the US have been having problems that's why I wanted to go with SB. Dixon has some figures that are very hard to find, like buglers and the like, Cavalry armed with Spencers instead of Sharps, etc. But the heads have always thrown me off, I realize that there are folks who love them and that's great but I don't. But it's certainly nice to know that this isn't a hare-brained scheme. Thanks all as always. |
