Ive just uploaded a new post to my blog discussing the use of drones in modern wargames, inspired by the film Eye in the Sky. rorycrabb.wordpress.com |

Off topic question: How long will it be until we see drone vs drone dogfight? |

Already has happened, if you consider grappling/seizing an opposing drone by another one, in mid-air. Swirling dogfights are probably coming soon, for some. No doubt, being worked on and in testing as I type this, since I've seen multiples of them moving in tight formation a few years back. Will be interesting to see what weaponry they arm them with. |

Would drone vs. drone be that likely? Drones seem best suited to fighting a less technologically advanced and poorly equipped enemy in asymmetric engagements I would think that a nation with a full strength modern military would use Electronic Counter Measures against drones or simply send a fighter jet to shoot it down.
