Hi, does anyone know where I can get a 1:600 P3 Orion please?

Cheers,

Nick

I'm not aware of one.

Closest is probably a 1/700th plastic kit.

Still want a nice, 1/600th scale Bear bomber, and other Russian bombers mystelf, but the Orion could be useful too.

Try Shapeways – they might have one.

Bear here link

There is also a Bison and IIRC a Badger on Shapeways.

Thanks Allen.

Sadly, the reasonably priced Bear I found on Shapeways is under-scale, and I've written the producer to see if he'd fix it, with no response.

Some of the others are just unaffordable, when you want more than one for a bomber attack, at least for me.

I have been hunting for a P3 for ages.

Nobody on Shapeways does one in 1/600.

We live in hope, however.

Thanks gents; suggesting 1:700 was a good call – there's one here link

Bit pricey, but at least you can get one

Sorry, but my OCD would kill me if I included 1/700.

Skywave/Pitroad includes a P-3 Orion in their 1/700 scale modern Japanese destroyer Hatsuyuki kit. You can usually find them on ebay for less than the Shapeways guy is charging for the plane alone.
