Back in the day, maybe it was the oughts, there was a plucky little New Zealand(?) one man show called Grumpy's Miniatures. He made some amazing historical lines (Koreans and Malaysians and such) but also some pretty amazing fantasy ranges in races I'd never seen before: Squidmen, and Fishmen, and Lionmen (I think) and those odd guys from Gulliver's Travels (Blemmyes) with their heads inside their chests. I have wondered lately what happened to that guy and his line of fantasy figures. Did someone snap them up? I know East Riding might carry the historical stuff, but what about the rest of it? Used to be carried by Evil Gong Miniatures in Australia.. link But this site suggests what's left of the ranges seem to be with East Riding Miniatures in the UK presumably in their ERM15 Fantasy range. link Eureka still distributes Grumpy's 15mm Historicals. link |
