Am I losing my mind or is it cheaper to order directly from Pendraken vs The WarStore?

Placed two exact orders and WarStore was $6 USD more (of course, I'll get it much sooner, but if I placed a large order….Pendraken is much cheaper)

Could it be the exchange rates at the time? Warstore probably didn't adjust their pricing.

Weasel is correct.

I order all of mine from Pendraken directly and cannot say enough about the EXCELLENT service Leon provides. If for no other reason I am happy staying with dealing directly with Pendraken. It's worth the wait.

Time is money. It is up to you to decide if it is worth getting them sooner. Another issue will be the fill of the order. Pendraken can cast and fill 100% while the IS based company may have to order certain numbers that are out of stock.

Good points Rudy

I will throw in that while I am in no way comparing to Pendraken (whom I've never ordered from directly), Warstore has been fantastic every time I've dealt with them :)

Well….thank you all for your comments, however, I think I'm going 15mm (after seeing a table of a local gamer who plays Flames Of War).

15mm will easily work and NOT look like a cluttered parking lot on my table (4x8)

15mm is God's Own Scale :-)

They're also big enough that you can skirmish with them extremely well.

Last I looked the shipping costs from the UK made my 10mm idea fly out the window.

Yea crazycaptain…..that is part of the reason I'm going 15mm. I can drive 15 minutes and pick up some 15mm if I so choose. Another BIG reason why I'm going 15mm. With international shipping 15mm isn't that much more than 10mm

If you are in the UK then Pendraken have excellent customer service. Their forum has postulated clones and time machines as the reason they get stuff to you so quick. Don't know how quick it gets across the water.

Last Hussar, I have done business with Leon at Pendraken for some time now and can only give him the very highest praise. The time for me to get an order here in the US is not bad at all, and Leon is such a wonderful person to deal with. He has been so helpful to me uncountable times!

I'm a HotT Weird World War gamer and I use 15 MM for most figures in an army, but I love his armor and vehicles because they are so nicely done, paint up very well, and although a little smaller than they might need to be, they still work fine in HotT fitting the allowed base size very well so I don't have to use a deeper base.
