Very ni e indeed, I have two questions for Barry really, when can I have them and how big a difference is there from the other horses? I have 6 Swedes already painted on the other style horses waiting for these new ones to be released so I can mix them in. I don't mind the smaller horses at all but worry they wont mix.

I'll have my separated. My two first brigades will all be the old riders and horses. While my two next brigade will be the new styles (mabye strange as those that will use new horses will be life guard!)

Thinking mine might be other way around Truls. I have 6 Life Guard painted and 5 of them glued to the horses. I intend to have 2 units of 9 and do all the life guard on the
old larger horses if possible. I may then do other units using the new horses which I have to say do look really nice. Will have to see how I can achieve that. I do also intend to do at least one unit of Saxon Currasier so will have to see what works best and how flexible Barry is able to be.

These figures are specifically designed for the newer horses, but while they are smaller they are wider across the middle. So the new figures do fit on the older horses if you wanted to keep the older size.

Will the new league of Augsburg dragoon troopers fit the old horses?

RogerC25 Aug 2016 8:45 a.m. PST

Thanks Clibinarium, I have to say I really like the look for the new horses, its mixing them into a unit I have already started with the old ones that bothers me.

Not a criticism just a head scratcher.

No worries.

Gunfreak, I checked some dragoon masters on the old horses and they seem to fit, perhaps they sit a little high in the saddle, but they fit.

Thanks, I was thinking specifically for English/British dragoons. That where mounted on bigger horses then other countries dragoons.

We really are delighted with these. Clib did a lot of work on the horses too – no mean feat.
In the end we are likely to have 10 packs of Swedish troopers and 14 packs of Russians including Horse Grenadiers but not in the traditionally portrayed tall mitre which is now I think somewhat suspect.

As far a cross use of figures I can confirm that the new dragoons do fit on the old horses.
