Hello! after some time, following the 3D sculpting of 1/72 models for fantasy gaming, we sent to 3d print the first facion – the Rösian humans (vikings)-, and yesterday we received the masters/samples, to assemble them and them off! The starter packs of all factions will contain a mix of monopuse models (always with separated shield) and other poses with the option to select different heads or weapons. So to make a "refresh", these are some of the renders :
This is not a human viking but we , to see how would it come out, sent to print an elf hyena rider
After 3D printing, the moulder made the masters:
And here they are assembled!
ALSO, we wanted to share that we are working on the miniatures to be able to play skirmishes with warbands with individual miniautres, but also, they will be compatible with bases with slots to make 5men squads and make rank & file armies
We hope you like it! worldofmagrieb.com menhirgames.com.ar |

How do they scale with other 1/72? |
Itlerion | 23 Aug 2016 1:26 p.m. PST |
they are 22,5mm to eyes, 24 top of the head, they would be "true 1/72" 24mm x 72 = 1720mm or 1,72mts Here is a size comparison between different raes/factions:
With mounts:

Wish you guys had some 1/100 versions… And just to ask, how do you do prints for spin-casting? |
Itlerion | 24 Aug 2016 6:36 a.m. PST |
3D print are resin made, so to avoid them be destroyed in the vulcanising process, the moulds make a silicone rubber mould and hand pour metal in those silicone rubber, 2-3 times to get the masters… then, thso masters are used to make the black rubber "cake" moulds. 1/100 you mean 15mm? we will make this miniature in 1/72 adn 1/58, but surethey could be in the future modified to be made in 15mm, basically, making the heads a bit bigger in proportion to the body |

Wow these look great! And will finally plug a serious plug into 1/72's relative desert of fantasy stuff. |

what it's really lacking in this scale for that kind of warfare is a Viking Ship in 1/72…a ready mada, one piece plus sail wargame model, possibly cheap in order to allow to buy quite a few…m aybe 3D will be, in the future, the solution.. |

@Itlerion Thanks. I was wondering the process. Always wanted to make a minis but never has the space for the equipment. |

@Augustus Exactly that is why we decided to go 1-72 fantasy.. it is a desert that needs to be watered! @ITALWARS Well, yes, 3D sculpting a 1/72 ship would allow to also making it for 1/100 and 1/58 scales, that is the good thing of 3D modelling! we dont discard making at least 1 ship for each faction! @Psyckosama: this video is very ilustrative (you can skip the first minutes and start at 8:00 to see how miniatures are casted)

I use 1/72 scale Elves, and Dwarves, with 25-28mm Humans because they are the proper size, according to the 1977 1st Ed. AD&D Monster Manual for these races. These will add additional options for my Elves, and Dwarves. Need to see prices, though. Otherwise, these are very welcome! Cheers! |
