I saw this and your email at the same time.

Let me dig up the one from No Stars in Sight and you can use that as a starting point (pun somewhat intended)

The NSIS points system goes as follows:

10 points for a standard grunt.
-2 for irregulars
+5 for professionals.

SAWs add +6, RPG adds +8
Smoke grenades add +2 per man.

Add +2 for a squad leader, unless the squad has 7 or more men.

Platoon NCO +10
Platoon leader +20
Sniper +12

Heavy weapon teams pay for their crew and a leader plus 8 points for a machine gun, 12 for an AGL.

I'll see if I can make a PDF out of just the points values, but hopefully that'll get you started.
They match up okay but they were never intended to be tournament-proof.

On a gut feeling, I like 20% better, though it may be too conservative?

An 8 man team of regulars with 2 SAW is 94ish.
A 20% increase would put them up to 112 or so.
25% will put them at 117.

Hm, maybe on second thought, 20% is better.

I have some notes on vehicles, though they don't match the current way tanks function. I'll try to post them up later though.
