Hi, Is there a source for 28mm human skulls and bones that would be suitable for detail for post-apoc terrain pieces? Thanks, irishserb |

Wargames factory skeletons. One box and you'll never need bones again. And they are so fiddly you'll never be tempted to actually attempt to assemble them. |

Or an old box of GW plastic skellies from the bargain table at your next Con. |

Toad King Castings has a skull and bones resin sheet that will do nicely: link I have a lot of his stuff and it's great. |

Why not just make a tool to do it? Tank a length of maple dowel or piece of basswood and and cut out the face on the edge of the dowell. Then impress it into wet putty or spackling paste. All you need is make the suggestion of the face and the mind will supply the details. Remember you are working in reverse so two close set mounds in the surface for the eyes, a little slit for the mouth and a few lines for the jaw. |
