Terry37, I am not taking away from how nice these look but the effects you see are nowhere near as hard to produce as you might think. :)don't feel discouraged by good work, be encouraged and inspired by it. You can really surprise yourself by what you can do if you try.

Thanks Der Krieg, I've been doing this for close to 60 years now and am more than happy with my work, and have even managed to win a few painting contests along the way. But I do still enjoy remarkable work like yours!

I do also very much agree with you. Nobody should ever be concerned about their quality of work, and NEVER try to compare yourself to anyone else. This is a hobby, so do your best, be proud of your work and have fun with the hobby.

Just to close, I have picked up a few pre-painted armies when I needed some in a hurry, that were painted different from my style, but when it got down to it I had just as much fun gaming them as I do armies I've done myself.
