Anyone have them?

Well, Blue Moon has them:

Okay, just being a smart a$$. I own a slew of the Eureka figures which are amazing, but much more costly than the Blue Moon, and in both cases neither company make US "Flying" Artillery crew which are needed for Palo Alto/Resaca de la Palma.

On the Mexican side there is a need for Mexican militia types from Blue Moon.

So really, depends on what you want to recreate on the tabletop. Eureka – more costly but a far more complete range. Blue Moon – cost effective.

But, if Blue Moon were available when I started buying Eureka, I might have gone that route.

Guess I really didn't help, did I?

I was wondering what people thought of them. And I see they haven't finished the line yet. But you're right, there don't seem to be any "prospective" militia listed.

I have a couple hundred of the Blue Moon Americans, and two units of the Eureka MS Rifles. I like Blue Moons proportions much more than the Eureka's.

I use a mix of US Regulars, Volunteers, and New Orleans Greys (from the Tex-Rev line), and they all paint up quite nicely. For Texans and militia-types I use a mix of Texans from the Tex-Rev sets, and a few Confederates mixed in.

Can't really comment on the Mexicans, as I do not own any.

Thanks,Dog,that sounds good. Who do you use for Mexicans,BTW?

So,anyone have the Mexicans? I ask because sometimes, different sculptors are used for different armies, even in the same range.

One of my buddies has the Mexicans, and I believe most of his are Eureka.

Mine usually see combat against Crimean Brits in a campaign against the "evil" Canadians.

The Musket miniature line works very well. I have an entire collection for sale.

I have about 5% Eureka, 15% Blue Moon, 20% Musket Miniatures, and 60% the old Frontier line.

The work very well together.
