Just did a repaint and minor conversion of Mr. (and Mrs!) Freeze over on my blog. More pictures there! Check it out if so inclined! angrypiper.com/gaming/?p=1281 Also, a shout-out to some fellow TMPers: Chris Palmer for his awesome Frostgrave sea-glass ice idea, which I swiped for thematic terrain; as well as Russell95403, who built the other sci-fi terrain you see. Thanks guys! Comments welcome, there or here! |

Mr. Freeze has long been one of my favorite bat-villains, due in large part to Arnold Schwarzenegger's brilliant, iconic performance in the 1997 film Batman & Robin. OK, maybe not. Whew! You had me going there for a minute! Very nice work on those Freezes. |

Those ice crystals really set off the figure – nice! And I'll rise (slightly) to defend Arnie's Freeze. His lines were pretty terrible, but he delivered them with such relish I always find myself enjoying his character anyway! |

Man that looks great. How hard was it getting the helmet off of the figure? |

Thanks to all for the kind words. Spudeus: If you're talking about the crystals on his base, I got two of them in a bitz bag purchase a while ago. I have no idea what they came from, but they were chrome-colored plastic. I did something similar with the other one on a repainted original Iceman (part of my original X-Men team).
Of course, if you're talking about the ice scenery, that's Chris Palmer's idea. You can find it here: TMP link And regarding Arnold, I will say that he was hands-down the best thing about that of a movie. :) Redmenace: I purchased the miniature as a single on eBay (I think). Either that or at Troll and Toad or Miniature Market (they don't do clix singles anymore, sadly). Wherever I got it from, it came in two pieces. So it wasn't hard at all. :) |
