I was noodling around in my Ancestry tree and came upon a cool factoid in my grandmother's tree. One of my great….great (9th) grandfathers came to Canada in 1665 in the above mentioned regiment. I find this to be very cool, but then I'm pretty geeky. The only thing I've found in my tree of equal, or perhaps greater coolness, is that Daniel Boone's older sister Sarah is my (7th) great grandmother.
Anyone else have some interesting ancestors?

My great grandfather joined the 1st N.J. Cavalry at age 16 in 1865.
