We're thinking about moving to Spain in the New Year, so we're looking for somewhere to rent, near the coast with a pool and – of course – a very large room. Anybody know a trustworthy estate agent who could help? Obviously it'd be good to be in an area with other wargamers who would like to take part in big, big battles….ACW/WW2/Vietnam.

which part of Spain?
I live near Javea and can recommend some in that area.

If you choose Barcelona or near, there you can find THE club:

Gunnerphil…location is n't that crucial to us, so Javea is certainly a possibility, so we'd be glad of your input.

I'm based on Canary Islands and here Remax Real State works fine.
Where I live there is the shop Kraken, the ones who make the ruleset Tercios. Nice shop and nice people.

No useful advice to offer UFB but good luck with your move.

Oh and the Galician climate might suit you better complexion wise.

If you are considering further South the area in the hills behind Malaga is very nice. Malaga has good connections to the UK and a wargames club.

We're just about to complete on a property near Iznate (about half an hour from Malaga). 15mm Napoleonics & ACW is my preference.

Which wargames club are you referring to here ? Club Comandante? Or do you know another?

I'll be spending 6 weeks in Malaga from end of January 2017 to mid March. I've been trying to find historical wargamers in the city (I won't have any transport) I've found Club Comandante on Facebook but they don't have an email address so contact is difficult.

I can be emailed directly at kennclark@btinternet.com
